WorkFE's Account Talk

-Everythings green overseas
-Futures are up this morning

Pass out the guns and ammo, lets go bear huntin:nuts:

Futures look terrible.
Overseas down (Except for Asia)

Apple just announced they sold a crap load of iphones last week. That little bit of news could bring futures up alittle, we shall see.

No economic reports are do out today (That I am aware of) Does not mean that some idiot won't speak to a camera at some point today:mad:

My 2 story shed project is almost complete. I took photo's of the 16x17 one they had at Lowes that sold for $7300. I am coming in under 3K. Sure glad my Father and Grandfathers taught me how to swing a hammer:)

If you were looking for a short term gain, if these futures hold through the day this could be a nice jump in day.
Good luck today everybody.

This is an extremely difficult market to watch but I believe I am at the point where I stick my TSP the same place I put my Stocks that I bought dirt cheap. In the file cabinet.
I don't need it for a few years:)
For those that jumped in today for a quick 1% you probably made a great move.
Other than some overseas turmoil (Iran & NK) house anyone seen anything that substanciates this market volatlity?
Just profit taking I suppose.:notrust:

To all of those from PA I thought you could use an uplifting joke after todays close:

A man in Topeka , Kansas decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there.

Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "Calls: $10,000 a minute."

Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to GOD.

The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way. As he continued to visit churches in Seattle, Dallas, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and around the United States, he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor.

Finally, he arrived in Pennsylvania, upon entering a church in Marietta, PA, behold - he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS time, the sign read"Calls: 35 cents."
Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor, "Reverend,
I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to GOD, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call. Why?"

I love this part...............................

The pastor, smiling benignly, replied, "Son, you're in Pennsylvania now .... You're in God's Country, It's a local call."

Futures GREEN for the moment, lets hope for a good start to our second half of the year.:)

Oil hovering in the 70 dollar range. Funny how that was the number that oil countries said was a fair number when it was 40.:suspicious:

Dollar seems to be regaining some strength.

Has anyone heard if the ishares portfolio from BGI was sold to Blackrock? I know their stock has been on the rise lately.

You know it was a pretty good day when you gain a full % and drop 10 spots on the Tracker.:D

Congrats everyone. Lets hope today does not give it back.

Bad News: This is shaping up to be an ugly day.

Good news: Holiday weekend is upon us and chances are overwhelmingly in our favor that our next fund purchases will be at lower prices.

Have a great 4th of July Weekend

Now that's a positive attitude - more shares in the bucket at lower prices. That's such an easy concept to visualize - but very few like to participate.

I guess a few out there confirmed their support line.
After the way we opened today I am not complaining.

Just an observation: My wife and I went to a campground in Cave City, KY. About a month before we called around for reservations (I'm a last minute shopper) Every where we called was booked. Us and friends of ours got the last 2 spots. Anyway it was very busy, lots of money being spent. The difference on this trip was I seen alot of Benjamins and not alot of plastic. I personally enjoyed seeing that, tighten the screws on the banks alittle harder. I know people will eventually give in but it was refreshing.

Lets see what the rest of the week brings.
