The one positive from yesterday is that my contributions went in at yesterdays close.
Riding the roller coaster.

Just think, six days ago I was feeling pretty good at -2%.

We've seen this dance to often to get excited. Run up in the AM, sell off in the PM but to hold these levels into the close would do alot towards jump starting a small X-mas rally.
3% in a day would provide a little cheer for the holidays to alot of folks. That is provided we don't give back 4% the following day.

Let it go viral I say.

Yesterday was certainly a welcome change. Have the holidays arrived. For the most part unless it is a serious rally it will do little to strenthen individual accounts. It will add icing to those who have had a good year and I suppose it could soften the let down of some. For me, I just want 2012 to get here. Not that it will matter, I will probably just add water and repeat steps 1 through 4.

Futures are up this morning however they have been retreating. I have heard talk of a run up to 1310. I don't see it. 2012 looks to be shaping up alot like 2012. Thats not necessarily a bad thing. We have members who made some serious coin in 2011. It will be interesting to see who can repeat.

Another day closer to the end of another year. Futures are green this AM but that's nothing new. Need to push higher, just not sure if that is the direction this market wants to go.
I was spending some time reading remarks in some of the threads on the MB. This has been a tough year for a lot of our folks, not just financially.
I think I will center my new years resolution on Family and Friends.

All in all not a bad year. Did not finish positive but in the end contolled major damage.
Futures are up big this AM. Time to start all over again.

It would be nice to see it retreat under 22 today. Although that would make my move a bit premature I'll still have skin in the game.

If I had known the dollar was going to light up like the NY skyline today I may have shifted my G fund holdings to the I fund.
