Still range bound. We need to close above the >1060 to make me feel better about the current trend. Does not have to be today but if not we could be in for a pull back tomorrow.
Considering the sling shot uptrend this morning I expect there to be some selling this afternoon making it impossible to land on that support level mentioned above.
Oh well, just end the day green please.

We pierced 1060 this morning. I think if we can close around 1058 it will have a positive effect for tomorrow.

You could be right NASA. Either way it is definitely been resistence and a tough nut to stay above.
Other than flat green anything steady on the green side with positive overseas action tonite could be good for tomorrow.

Futures looking good this morning, do we close above 1064. Time will tell. Could be another big up day depending on reports. ALCOA started things off pretty good. Next up is initial jobless claims and wholesale business inventories. These could be gas on the ALCOA futures fire or easily cause a flame out.

Overseas markets headed higher, that coupled with a weak dollar continues to assist the I fund. How long could that last?

Gold continues to be in a league of its own. Alot of talk about it continueing but it is at the point I may sell all and go back to the poor mans metal. It is alot of profit to ignore.

For me, yes.
But at the moment it, for the year, is trading on the high side. I have considered dumping that (Profit taking) also until prices recede. I jumped on silver Jan 09 and Gold back in 05.
It is just a tough decision to separate myself from metals during economic turmoil.

Interesting. Could be a nibble of good news.

Just out of curiosity.
After the march lows I assume people reevaluated there investment goals for the year. Is it now get as much as I can or is there a number (%) that you wanted to achieve after the crash. And if so have you reached it and are now in cherry on top mode.
Just interested in what others thought they could acheive before the end of 2009.

The important reminder is that this is not a bear market rally but rather the beginning of a new multi-year bull market. Some people say it will last three years, five years and even ten years. I'm just going with the flow and plan to make $5M.

Your plan is well documented and is playing out in front of us. Lets say you hit 5M today. Do you start to retreat slowly to conservative or do you change your goal.

I'd change my goal and go for $7M. You just have to go with the flow. If the bull lasts for ten years I have no idea where my net worth would be. This is a generational bull move and I'm just getting started - now that I'm on margin there may be no top. It's a self feeding system.

Unfortunately today will sell off and we will end up looking alot like yesterday.
The VIX is telling.

I think we close over Dow 9825. Watch for the girls in the spike heels to show up and do some panic buying.

Well we held the line today.
Tomorrow, COB, we head into a 3 day weekend. Weathers not cooperating so it don't mean a whole lot.
Lets hope tomorrow we can keep the ground we've made up.
