The other night I rediscovered Dr. William Bernstein's online asset allocation journal:
http://www.efficientfrontier.com
Dr. Bernstein is the author of The Intelligent Asset Allocator, The Four Pillars of Investing, and most recently, The Birth of Plenty. The latter book describes, in a very interesting and entertaining way, the historical conditions that have made our currenteconomic growthpossible.
Anyway, EfficientFrontier, which was first published in 1996, isnow published approximately four times a year andcontains a lot of information about asset class performance, asset allocation, and portfoliomanagement. I was particularlyinterested in three articles about the pros and cons of portfolio rebalancing. Dr. Bernstein raised a number of points I've not seen discussed elsewhere.
A very interesting site andhe doesn't seem to be selling anything except his books.
