Bobcats are among my favorites too.

Wild Animals - turned Tame

As it turns out -- take some totally wild animal -- like a FOX
Start treating them like they are meant to be pampered and spoiled
Take the children they have most willing to get close with 'us'.
In a Maximum of 9 generations -- all of them (and their offspring) will respond everybit as much as dogs do.
They will wimper for attention and in excitement when you come to get them. Roll on their backs and kind of go crazy -- at the thought of you interacting. Their ears will be more floppy, tails will be up and wagging, and their furs will be totally changed from those of the wild.
It looks like we're finding the genes to mess with -- to make them 'Tame' a lot faster in times to come.
