Why is all this information not just blocked from government computers like everything else they do not want us to see then we would be in no danger of looking at unauthorized material?

I am a charge nurse and I can not even see the on call doctor list. When I mentioned the fact in a meeting there was all kinds of discussion about privacy. I think when a person is being paid to do a job the contact information should be available to other workers who may need to make contact.

Do a simple google search at home and do one at work and compare them.

Even with people with clearances, there is no hacking of personal computers, no screening of calls, none of the gestapo theory nonsense. Now if you are under suspicion and they get a warrant, yes they can. The legal system still stands.

Shrug. I have not checked, but since all blog-type sites are blocked here, I probably can't go to wikileaks. However, I can read about the blowback (as in the Karzai article). I am not interested in seeing people's names when it comes to on the ground operations.

BTW, part of the price of being in Govt service is the higher your classification, the more you have to report about your movements and actions.

It used to be worse - you couldn't even participate on your own time in support of any political campaign or even get out to vote campaigns. That's gone now.

So seeing this when first arriving is beautiful and I really seriously appreciate your insights and integrity and intelligence.

My thought is more reflective of how to establish an example of this 'free minded private responsible for this' --

You see -- in all honesty -- in some manner 'WE' - the US of A would have to come up with something so 'Out Standing' - 'So Revolutionary' - 'So striking and different that the whole world would be kind of 'awed'.


So I think we should put him on the Top of some High Building and anchor him down -- have a 'lighting rod' sticking up from his 'buttocks' ...


and leave him there for years to come. Do everything possible to keep him alive for years to come. Have 24 hour coverage until he dies.

NOW - I deeply regret making this post because all it does is display the hugely 'flawed characteristics' of my human nature.

You (and I) are drawn to immensely appreciate those displaying expressions which reveal an understanding of who and what we are. For how we perceive 'the world' and whatever deeply gives grounding to the beliefs we have will no doubt draw 'us' to those that are like minded.

In the Deepest and Truest Sense - I have 'no place' and 'no right' to judge this man. For I know nothing about the circumstances by which the 'media' linked him. I also don't have the slightest clue what his underlying motives and intentions may have been - and in fact he may be entirely 'INNOCENT' and someone else 'corrupted' the 'good' he tried to do.

I only KNOW that my POST ultimately reflects TWO VERY HUGE aspects that make me 'Human'. First and foremost I am hugely drawn to appreciate the expressions of others that reflect a deeper meaning to who I am. That can be GOOD or BAD; a 'Blessing' or a 'Curse'.

For me to judge others the way I judged him - is always BAD.

Please forgive me, for in retrospect I've had a 'change of heart'.

we should just believe because they are Native to the country that we can call them the most demeaning names and destroy every aspect of their culture and lives that they regard 'sacred' and force them to live in the worst areas - and remain there like caged animals.

we should just believe because their skin is 'dark' that they are NOT human - nothing more than property - to 'buy and keep' as slaves.

we should just believe because 'The LAW' allows for 'whites only' that we will make a practice of using the best and most appeasing appliances and facilities for them -- and all the more use the most 'degrading appliances and the barest' for the others.

we should believe that because The LAW fosters a widespread 'hatred and intollerance for all who appear Japanese' that 'American Citizens' can be taken from their homes and sent to prisons - caged like animals.

we should BELIEVE because we are nothing more than born in one Nation that because The LAW allows 'us' to go anywhere - to any other Nation that we have every right to T & M whoever we want.

If she was my Daughter what happened to her would be nothing compared to what I would do to him, that's what is called justice.

That is what is called 'revenge' and it is impossible for me to think that I would not respond as you express.

How could 'we' possibly 'forgive' anyone for doing that? How in the world did the Amish family - not only 'forgive' but give with such abundant generousity to the 'Family' connected to their daughter's killer?

All of False religion is about to be destroyed by the nations, the bible foretold it long ago. She is described as a harlot who commits fornication with the kings of the earth,she is adorned with fine jewelry and clothing, because she is rich. But soon as the bible says, God will "put it into their hearts" (meaning the governments or the "kings of the earth" to turn on her, and completely destroy her. Then these "kings of the earth" will turn on gods true people and start to go after them, but as the bible says, that is when Jehovah the "true" god will act and intervene on behalf of his people and he will then say to them( not literally) "Stand back take your position, and watch the salvation by your god", Swiftly and effectivly eliminating at armageddon Satan and his demons and the current "system of things" (including people and governments) which fall under his control. Afterwards (the "ultimate" human debate having been answered) the earth is to be restored to paradisaic conditions just like the garden of eden and gods original plan, where all humans who survive armageddon and those resurrected (because they have been judged by god as worthy) will restore the earth to paradise and live on it in perfection and without satan and his demons influence in what man has tried to accomplish since the rebellion at the garden of eden...... TRUE peace and security.

Indians (be it American,central,south american) are/were very superstitious people. Debates about whether drug use played a defining role into this have unfolded as well, I tend to agree that it did. However, Indians are and were deeply concerned with the earth and tended to respect her more than most other cultures, for that I could only imagine god would allow them to return to live upon it in all it's full potential and enjoy her harvests once more under paradisaic conditions. Thats just my opinion though.
