Today Central Oklahoma was hit by an outbreak of sever weather ..Hail, Tornadoes, wind, rain..you name it..I was spared, but a lot of folks just East and South East of OKC weren't so lucky and they were blasted..I picked these bad boys up off my front lawn just after they hit....Looks like I'll be having my roof replaced. (I have wood shakes)

Since my wife and I just drove through there yesterday with her brand new Taurus, I'll count us and her new car blessed. However it is headed our way.

i priced metal roofs , man they are high but would be well worth it . hmmm maybe a tsp loan

Hey Buddy..I was just about to post in your thread upstairs..but seen you here first..I was wondering if you made out ok..I seen Noble got smacked pretty good..a lot of touch downs in your area..So glad you're okay..
..Yeah, I was all tucked away in the garage long before it came across from the West..it hit me about 5 pm...About 6, I went to Mc D's on 134th and Western and seen cars going West from Moore, a lot had their windshield all cracked up..


Real soon I promise we'll get together

we did good where i deer hunt by lake was hit hard , there was some damage at I35 AND INDIAN HILLS ROAD I think it is called beaver dock, tore some of there roof off and rolled a semi man that was close enough for me glad you did not get hit too hard , by the size of hail you have had plenty of dammage

Hey Guys,

I'm sure glad to hear ya'll made it ok except for building/car damage. I sure was worried. :worried: Love my metal roof I got last year and the rebate also. If that rebate is still going on this year, alevin would be interested in knowing about that.

Last Friday we had severe weather along the north coast. Tornado warnings, thunderstorm warnings, high wind and hail. I had a hail storm come through and just shredded our trees. It was hailing so hard I thought I was going to loose some of my skylights. We saved some of the hail from the yard and it was at least an inch across. Fortunately we had little or no damage to the house and vehicles.

Good thing you didn't have some Missouri size hail.....about softball size and the largest chunks of ice I have ever seen fall from the sky.
They just about went through metal roofing on a barn.

My parents need a new roof on thier house. My house was not hit to bad. I saw lots of cars with huge broken windshields. Glad all are okay.
