Whipsaw's Account Talk

Had I gotten out at first signs of weakness, I'd probably be jumping back in today... I gotta work on being more nimble.

And just like that, I'm negative for the year :-( Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. :cheesy:

Futures are up, BTW... :o

Makes you feel like the country dog that went to the city doesn't it. You stand and fight, they kick the crap out of you. You run and they bite you in the ass.

Need to work on being more nimble, tough with demanding work days and noon time interruptions. DCB today? We're up strong with pretty good volume... (FWM is my hero this week...)

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's too early in the session to foresee how the rest of the day will play out.

Very true statement unless you are planning on making an IFT today. You have to roll the dice, keep your fingers crossed or look into the crystal ball to give you an idea how the market will close. Or make sure you have on a clean pair of sticky pants and hope for the best.

Hmmmm... Doji on the C-Fund right now; S-Fund looks extended with gaps below, thinking of booking profits with 1st IFT of the year. Thinking there is more volatility in store as the books aren't closed on this coronavirus bug yet.

Well, I was just now! :angryfire: I even anticipated this and got to logging in 15 min to noon! this is hogwash! If they're going to make us have these two part authentications to get it, it should damn well send out the email! Oh, and if it doesn't show up in time, start over! That means it isn't a 1200 cut off, its 1130! GRRRRRRRR :soapbox:

Yes definitely change from email to text.
I get my code in text msg via cell phone within 30 seconds after I hit send from the TSP website.

Anyone been burned by this this verification code not showing up in time? :angryfire:
Well, not burned exactly since I was not going to make an IFT, but I have been unable to login from work because it takes to long for the email to get to me.

At least we can still call in an IFT from the phone menu which still only requires your pin. That's what I use now.

The e-mail with the pin just arrived! from 'alert@tsp.gov'; they got that address wrong! I'll have to crack the code on the 'phone an IFT' thing.
