I'm assuming the AutoTracker is resetting for the new year as there are less than 200 folks in the list (yours truly isn't listed). Any insight on status of the AT?

Yeah, its messed up. I'm not on the list either. There should only be one day of returns listed but people's returns don't necessarily match their allocations. Look at the people at the bottom of the list with 100% C or S allocations and they don't agree with each other.

The New Year down draft has caused some 'technical damage' and 'bearish leanings' according to the Marketwatch Technical Indicator Newsletter. Interesting read.

Mark Faber and the Doom & Gloom report... Expects the S&P to be lower by 20 to 40%, US is entering a recession.
Economic activity is poor, asset values everywhere are very high. Chinese economy has been slowing for 2 years. Hard landing in the market, commodities, possibly in the economy; colossal credit bubble in China. Investing with a 10 year time horizon... invest in emerging markets and gold (very depressed, could double).
