Whipsaw's Account Talk

I'll be out of pocket on Monday, here's to hoping the market will continue its slide. That said, it will charge on upward... :-/

The video pretty much sums up where I'm at, assuming I knew what I was talking about... Market is high, considered overvalued, pull out for fear of a correction, no correction yet falling behind missing gains as market continues higher, put money in causing a melt up, followed by a correction...

Futures are up... could this be the melt up mentioned above? Interesting about how there was so much chatter about a correction, crash, pullback in the weeks prior to yellen yelling about not raising rates... :notrust:

I think the last few days are a perfect exhibit on why the market is overpriced/exhuberant and the "experts" you see on the financial websites who say we aren't are idiots (not likely) or self serving (very likely). Yellen said really nothing new and the biggest thing of note was something negative......a decrease in the 2014 GDP projection. Yet, the market shoots up. The fundementals of price/overall economy are discounted deeply now and the market is living on FED news/action that we know can not and will not last forever. Reminds me of the 'roided up body builder who weighs 240 now but wants to get up to 255, so he ups the Anadrol dosage by 25MG knowing full well that his 'nads are going to be shrinking in the future.

100% S (I think, it was really close to 1200...) Looking for gains through the first week of July (see Uptrend's thread).

Were you close enough to get your IFT effective today at TSP.gov? If not you can watch like me tomorrow.

My watch and computer system time were reading 1158 when I hit submit... I think I got it in there :worried: I prefer a few more minutes leeway.

Good job Whipsaw and good luck....now change your signature block...

Not a bad strategy mirroring JTH's moves...can't argue with his success!

Sig block updated, thanks! I just need a little more hutzpah when considering a move; JTH and I were thinking the same thing yesterday... I'll get by with a little help from my friends!
