Markets no looka so good! Folks taking 3 and 4 % haircuts this month. I'm back in the low 500s on the AT. Be careful out there... is the S fund going to move through the 200 day?
 
S&P500 (C Fund) has been down for the past 5 trading days and looks to make today 6 in a row. Perhaps it is time to cry uncle and throw in the towel until after the election...:(

Whip you just reminded me that I need to be removed from the AT since I did a full withdraw from my tsp and went IRA. Thanks bud

No, only until I get out. I've been batting -100% on my trades all year.
 
You guys, its been a bad week; I need to do some reading and get a handle on what's what. S fund is definitely below the 200 day at this point, how much lower? Any support for a potential bottom? Its nutty right now with the election and the fed with a potential rate hike. I've moved almost a hundred spots in the AT today :blink:
 
Sorry to hear RF! I've been in the 'spooked' column since September. Haven't been plugged in enough to catch a small rally, the lower highs kept me out as well; and now... where's the bottom? =:-o
 
Yeah and therein lies the problem. Do I exit today taking what profits I can make from a short term bounce, or do I risk riding it back down if the market doesn't like the results of the election. Decisions, decisions...still have some time to think on it...:worried:
 
This rally is purely related to better odds of H winning the election, I don't think that will be the case; that said, a predictable market fall is in the waiting as the Trump landslide becomes apparent.
 
I was just responding to Whipsaw's comment about the market losing steam. :laugh:

As for "full speed ahead", let's see what the next few days brings.:rolleyes:

Looking into December, I am worried that a rate hike will kill any Santa Claus Rally... reference last year's rate hike...:worried: and the disaster that followed...
 
Thanks JP! I love steam locomotives! Yes, full steam ahead! It is the dawn of a new day in America :D

Powder is dry, ready for deployment; I think RF has an astute point about a potential rate hike, maybe last licks from those headed for the door? Looking for a strong Santa Rally this year, optimism should be up big. :cool:

Need to make an entry...
