The Fed will most likely continue their QE until the stock market guys like me begin a trickle down and spend some money - if that doesn't happen they may even move to QE4. The rules and regulations from the Dems are oppressive for economic growth. Grid lock is positive for the bull.

I completely agree with this. When the market was getting to hot they mentioned tapering and when the market was dropping during the budget crisis they announced no tapering for a year. Now they are too spooked to talk about it in fear it will cause a 10% correction. I think they'll probably silently taper until caught.:suspicious:
 
So the melt up continues... I'm at 9.5% for this year, not too shabby; my personal best since I've been in this thing. While only at half throttle, still making gains and can sleep at night that if the market takes a dump... well, you know.

I will be on the road tomorrow, braving the 'deadly winter storms' on my way up the east coast to LI NY for Turkey Day with my parents. Got brand new wiper blades and Good Year Wranglers (Made in USA :D ) on the Jeep Cherokee, a fresh inspection, a tank of gas, no cigarettes, it'll be dark when I leave, sunglasses at the ready! :cool:

Futures are pointing south at the moment, this may provide an opportunity to deploy some more cash in hopes for a Santa Rally...
 
Deployed the other 50% on this weakness to the C fund, looking for that Santa Rally through mid-January :D; when we get close to that debt ceiling again, I'm out. :notrust:
 
Futures climing out of the red, lets hope the trend continues. RMIs dire warning of a crash (I miss the OCD Chart BTW), as well as other systems going to cash, that scary 1929 chart, Norman and I going all in... Canaries in the coal mine? :worried:

no dire warning (edit: ok, so it sounded a little dire, but it was meant in jest since NOTHING can bring this market down), I am in 100% in stocks, you decide how to evaluate the move ;)

Don't panic until amoeba goes 100% into stock funds - he's been a great contrary indicator and actually takes pride as a sentinel.
 
This is interesting, C fund pulled ahead of S by ~ .4%... Hold the line! Hold the line! Advance! :D For those about to surge, we salute you! :toung: I'm optimistic anyway, at least until the debt cieling fight.
 
OK, forget the budget...

S fund looks like it is climing out, C not as much... Sticky pants on; looking for that Santa Rally.

I'm kinda hoping the QE taper is priced in and that there are just a few that are jumping out due to fear of that. I just got in for more so I kinda hope the market continues downward for today only with a nice rally the rest of the week and next week in particular. Keeping fingers crossed.... who knows what this market will do.

Santa don't forget us ---we believe!! :)
