This is my plan. I got in the S Fund COB Friday and am up 1%. I will hold for a few more days and get back out. If I can make 2 or 3% I will be happy.

I put in 50% thinking we'd see a DCB and more downside, now we get a robust bounce. I can see a few days of gains if this NK thing falls off the news cycle... Hmmmm...

It is very tempting to throw some more coin at this rally, especially the S Fund. However, in doing so I would be buying in at a higher price than I did on Friday. Nope, my strategy for the months of August and September are to invest no more than 50%. So with that, I will be happy with the gains I anticipate to make with a 50% investment, try to time my exit close to the high point (thinking 2500 in the S&P) and then sit back and wait for the next pullback...

As Hannibal used to say on the old tv series The A-Team, "I love it when a plan comes together".

Yesterdays rally cut my monthly deficit almost in half. Let's hope for two more weeks of positive moves.

Yes, futures are UP! You got a better price on your buy yesterday, RF. I'm still up .25% for the MTD, Europe is up which may bode well for the day. ( I must say I am amazed at BT with his B&H position of 20% C, 80%I in the tracker).

Yeah that was a bit of luck with the buy yesterday. I guess it is better to be lucky than good. Let's hope we end up dancing like YS after a nice run up the remainder of this week and into next week instead of doing the YS cussing scene. Speaking of YS, of all the characters, my favorite was Foghorn Leghorn. The things he did to that dog were absolutely hilarious.
