What's your weather like?

I am currently in Fort Worth, Texas, where the temperature indicator in the rental car says it is 107 degrees F.

They say "It's not the heat, it's the humidity."

Bull. It's the HEAT !

10 Day forecast for OKC, OK

Turned the A/C off last night and slept with the windows open for the first time since 7/2. :D Tonight lows in the 60's.
nights like that are great! ...enjoy while you can! Coffee does seem to taste better with early morning coolness!:D

Turned the A/C off last night and slept with the windows open for the first time since 7/2. :D Tonight lows in the 60's. The A/C will go back on tomorrow, low to mid 90's and thunder storms possible.

Back in LA for the first time in 2 years. What can I say? Those who hate it will hate it, those who love it will love it (I'm in the latter camp with Randy Newman:toung:). After close to 100% humidity in Okinawa, the dry warm days followed by cool desert nights are absolute paradise. Almost makes me wish I never left...

I'll bet, Buster, it was this much or more over there in OKC !!
This leads to the question: in addition to what your weather is today where
I think we've had over 30 days of over 100 so far... broke a few record highs too.....today was 104....98 right now at 9:30PM

in addition to what your weather is today where you are, when was the record... as recorded then..

Well, I don't know about the charts and historical stuff and all, but for me it was just after the turn of the century, in El-dah-rae-duh. Gawd that place was hot and oppressive, not to mention the humidity. And I was working with a real bunch of a**holes.

I never imagined you could fry an egg in liquid bubbling grease and not a pan and still have it come out whole, turns out was usually the best part of my day.

Soaked from the minute I got out of the truck till the time I was headed home.

PS, there are gators in the mill ponds, and they like chicken, strange folk called them pets, out back.

I'm back home getting some errands done, and here's the forecast for today.

I'm getting them done as quickly as possible so I can get back to the summer place where it's

So Jim... What are you doing in Seoul?

Got any pics? :D

Work.

And no, I didn't bring a camera with me. My cell phone will capture a few, but I have to wait till I return to the states to figure out how to upload them from my phone.
My cell service (sprint) charges by the kilobite for international - so I'd rather rather not be screwing around trying to figure out how to email myself a photo on my cellphone.

It started raining a little while ago- pretty hard rain too. Cool at 75F and rainy now.

Gumby,

103 in Columbia, MO yesterday, I was going to take a pic but had too many kids in the bus. Going to be 100 today and very humid as it rained.

Show-Me I am tired of the heat....... and it's not even August yet
