WHAT is it with the I Fund today?

Interesting. Stockcharts.com also has the negative figure, but that doesn't sound right. Maybe a dividend was paid recently and the share price just "appears" lower on these chart sites because it hasn't been updated? Just speculation.

Even Yahoo is showing inconsistencies so it may be the dividend thing...

Bummer!

Here I was-- all excited and bubbly happy about making a 2.2% gain on the I fund today....

(Sigh....it never seems to happen when I am IN the market. )

I believe you will make that much since the dividend is paid to those holding it. The EFA price is adjusted down, but the dividend gets paid to you and the I-fund price should reflect that.

Well, end if the day, and Yahoo is showing 2.2% gain. But the actual TSP is showing just a 0.85% gain.

Somebody is holding on to something there, eh?

And that, my friends, is how the transfer agent is able to skim off a tidy sum, with no one noticing.

That was the traders/ brokerage workers Christmas bonus.
