What if the board went silent.....

If the board went silent I would feel a loss......
If the board went silent I would not have the valuable insight I get from everyone.....
If the board went silent I would not feel as informed as I think I need to be...
If the board went silent blah blah blah....the bottom line here is to say thanks to everyone (even you Birch) who contributes here with their opinions and transactions. I read it all. Both sides. This is being said in honor of Wheels but is directed to all here. If you all stopped posting your stuff it would be a great loss. I actually contribute nothing much here analytically because I use a market momentum strategy based on nothing in particular but momentum swings and gut instinct. I am influenced by everyone here and a few other things I read elsewhere but I make my own decisions and hold no one responsible but me. This is a great tool to have. And the people (if you are indeed real people) are even greater.

And by the way if you ever want to take shots at me or bust my non-existent balls, feel free to do so. I don't take any of this personal.

What's a matter S&S? Feel like you are not getting your fair share of being slapped around? There's a word for that I'm sure. Probably of minor consequence in your case....

This seems like a suitably random thread, so I'll just post this here:

I could very well be living in another state within the next six months (here come the jokes about state of insanity, dementia, etc. - oh wait, I already spend time in those two states...). :D

Basically, I've grown tired of the climate where I work and need a change before it drags me down into a horrible pit of despair. Besides, there's a couple women that like me where I want to move, so why the heck would I stay here if offered a job there?

Plus I could work normal hours (unlike here) and have a somewhat normal life (again, unlike here).

Now returning you to your regularly-scheduled programming...

Good luck there Mikey! Careful though, those West Virginia women can be hard to handle....................;)

S&S,

You are both so sweet - and if I can't bust your non-existent balls could I possibly tickel your Elmo? Please? And besides, Wheels was a nice guy but really too much of a Johnny Dep.

Mailmanusa,

Wheels became frustrated with my incessant leaning to the dark side of the C fund. He had historically been an ardent supporter of the S fund and when the S fund hit the proverbial wall he felt.....who cares what he felt. But don't worry he'll surface again because he is very helpful - just not pleased at times. That's what makes this country great.

I don't think thats it at all. More along the lines of "blah blah blah my huge stock portfolio" with nothing related to TSP in your TSP ACCOUNT. And your TSP talk thread. Because really you've nothing to say about it because you sit and do nothing in it. You need to be relevant so you talk about your "other" stocks here at TSP talk. You should go to myhugeportfolioofotherstocksnotrelatedtotsptalk.com because really our concerns here are TSP related.

Spice,

You'd be surprised how many other folks have other investments besides their TSP accounts. Managing a TSP account is easy - it's designed to be fiduciary friendly. If you want to bunny hop that's fine - keep on hopping. The only time I discuss my oceanic account is on my talk thread - it's totally voluntary to read. You will also notice that I don't pack and roll very easily - check with The Technician on this subject. There are many new participants that are in need of some education and sometimes a little experience from a salty dog is appreciated. We all operate on our own terms - it won't be long and my tugboat will make better than $65,000 this year from price appreciation alone not counting contributions. See how easy that is. Take care bunny.

They just don't talk about them here like you do.* Managing a TSP account is easy - it's designed to be fiduciary friendly.*extremely easy if you never do anything* If you want to bunny hop that's fine - keep on hopping. The only time I discuss my oceanic account is on my talk thread * Yeah, your TSP talk thread* it's totally voluntary to read. * And I do read it* You will also notice that I don't pack and roll very easily - check with The Technician on this subject.* You think I'm picking a fight?* There are many new participants that are in need of some education and sometimes a little experience from a salty dog is appreciated. Overall typical talking down to tactic to prove your superiority. Very see thru.
Did I spell it right Birch?

I for one appreciate every word that Birchtree says. He has an unmistakable wit about him. For someone who stays constant his words carry a lot of weight.

I certainly own up to being tendentious with my strategy - but I'm correct. No one has to listen or believe. But I'm not guilty of being supercilious of any other investing strategies. If I have knowledge it has taken many years to get there - and I'm actually trying to be helpful and the information is free. You have gained a certain percentage but what is that in terms of $$$. Bunny hopping $500,000 is not the same as bunny hopping $50,000. Are you familiar with Elliott labeling - the "Primary" label is that of many years to decades. I'm looking for a Primary wave 3 to the upside. If that happens....there will be manure spread everywhere. Nice to talk to you again.
