Website Slow II

Gee Buster, if you'd just lower your standards you'd be disappointed less often :)

.
I couldn't agree more..But when you are on the "Best" website on the net, one can only expect the service to be the BEST also...don't you agree?;)

In the IT world, I find that it's more common to not know why something is broken, let alone how to fix it. At home, I'm starting to believe my ISP is problematic, I almost never have these issues at work.

Re: Website Slow

I have been on all day and really haven't experienced any noticeable slow down, but you're not the only one who has said this so perhaps something is going on.

The servers are part of the "the cloud" now and they should not be slowing down. Perhaps there are some database issues. If this persists, I will look into some kind of reboot / refresh, but being on the cloud, I'm not even sure what that would mean anymore.

Thanks for reporting it.

It is much better now as I posted yesterday. I love it when everybody was experiencing the slow down and no explaination can be given by the cloud handlers.:suspicious:..It must of been too much snow up in Tom's cloud in NY that cause the slow down....

Re: Website Slow

Well, I tried to post something here about it this morning, but I gave up, waiting for the "Quick Reply" box to open ! :D

Oh, I thought it was just me because I am on the other side of the planet (and the Internet connections here are horrible)... There are days I can't post at all...

Re: Website Slow

I'm not sure. I think it could be location related with "ping" issues because I haven't really experienced any problems in my area. But it's obviously someting.

I have a really fast internet connection (60mbps) and that could have something to do with it. The server techs say they don't see anything - at least when they were looking at it.

Keep me posted. Thanks!

Re: Website Slow

Geez, Tom ! The site was maddeningly slow yesterday and this morning for me, too ! Just tried again, and something seems to have been fixed ~ 1:30 PM (central) or so...knock on wood !

Was there something wrong with an ad server or something ?

Tom are you on a gadget you can put in your pocket, or on a real computer?...Because at work and at home on desktops, the site is super slow...still, as of right now.
