Apparently we just attacked Venezuela with both jets and helicopter strikes.

This is from a foreign news source

At least seven explosions - At least seven explosions and low-flying aircraft were heard around 2am local time with videos circulating on social media showing multiple explosions across Caracas.

Trump administration officials are aware of reports of explosions and aircraft over Venezuela's capital Caracas early on Saturday morning, CBS reporter Jennifer Jacobs posted on X.

"President Trump ordered strikes on sites inside Venezuela including military facilities," Jacobs posted later, citing U.S. officials.“

Update: we apparently just kidnapped Maduro. And his wife.

From the Jerusalem Post:

In a post on Truth Social, US President Trump stated that the US had "successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the country."

Colombian President Gustavo Petroconfirmed reports of explosions and military operations taking place in Venezuela and called for emergency Organization of American States (OAS) and UN meetings on Saturday morning.

A jaw dropping (Pre-Maduro Kidnapping) interview with Daniel Di Martino, a Venezuelan‑born economist, writer, and activist.

If you believe half of what this guys says, then we might wonder why the free press never reports the truth.

While it is interesting to hear his take, does he really provide any proof, or is it more right wing bs?

One thing he referenced was definitely not accurate. The story about Venezuelans allegedly taking over an apartment building in Aurora, CO has been debunked. I live in the Denver/Aurora area. It's simply not true.

Sixteen Venezuelan nationals, all suspected members of TdA, were taken into custody at the Edge of Lowry apartments in 2024 shortly after a viral video showing armed men entering one of the units in the complex.

I didn't read that story as a debunking...

After the hearing, Aurora police chief Chamberlain said he believed that members of Tren de Aragua were part of the problem there, noting that federal authorities say seven of the suspects in the kidnapping and assault are members of the gang. However, Chamberlain said gang members had not taken over the complex and emphasized that the main problem was the lack of management and oversight by the property’s owners.
