Interest rates will turn negative; gold price to hit $4,000 this cycle, says Frank Holmes

Aug 05, 2020

Guest(s): Frank Holmes CEO, U.S. Global Investors

The fiscal and monetary conditions have never been stronger for gold prices, and while the yellow metal already broke records this week by hitting $2,000 an ounce, Frank Holmes, CEO of U.S. Global Investors, doubled down on his $4,000 an ounce by the end of this bull cycle call.
Price corrections can happen along the way, Holmes said, but gold investors should buy on the dip.

why gold and silver are going up.

Treasuries are holding less appeal. Scott Minerd of Guggenheim Investments told Reuters that he expects U.S. treasuries to dip into negative territories with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell keeping interest rates near zero indefinitely while Powell waits for the economy to regain its footing.
Tech stocks have out-performed other sectors by significant margins this year.
El-Erian said people are moving partially out of treasuries and looking at a basket of assets that will act as a risk mitigator.

from latest disgusting tsp email

"L Funds balance the potential for higher returns associated with investing in the stock markets with the need to safeguard your savings for retirement."
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

WOW!!!. "At the end of each trading day, we rebalance the target mix of core funds"

that is what everybody used to do when owner members of the TSP were allowed to change their funds everyday. So why can they do it and not us?
They are disgusting.

If there was a Nasdaq fund members would be up close to 100% this yr. But no. we must suppress govt workers.

I'm done, have fun with that. Peace.

98% sure I will go to G for next week on Friday and secure the profits esp., since I hit an all time high balance. This is great since I've been retired for four yrs and zero additional money has been going in.
Then relax and watch Ira, Pivot Boss and Oscar's evaluations.
God is Great!!!

All the Time!
Did you leave your entire balance in TSP when you retired or just some. I only ask because I am retiring EOY.

so the corrupt TSP.gov are now digging deeper into our private lives.

new policy this fall to access our accounts they will only send the code number to ones phone either via a phone call or text. hey tsp goons not everybody has or uses text. will the phone call provide a huge code number one time with a bad computer voice providing the numbers too fast for any normal person to write down? Email is no longer valid.
this puts me one step closer or already over the edge to remove ALL of my money. need to figure out were to put it.
email I was sent. please don't laugh too hard at their propaganda.
[h=2]Easier login and more security for My Account[/h]
You may notice some changes to your My Account login this fall. As a stronger layer of security against fraud, all TSP participants will need to log in with a user ID and use a phone number for two-step authentication and other online requests.
You’ll see these changes in My Account by late October. If you already created a user ID and validated a personal phone number in My Account, you won’t need to make any changes. Otherwise, you’ll see prompts for the steps you need to take when you log in to My Account.
[h=3]User IDs for all TSP participants[/h]
You must create a user ID for logging in to My Account. This helps protect your account number. You can create a user ID that’s easy for you to remember. If you do forget your user ID, you’ll be able to retrieve it online. And you can always create a new user ID in your My Account profile settings.
[h=3]Add and validate a phone number[/h]
You must add and validate a personal phone number in My Account. This adds a stronger layer of security to your account. When you log in and request certain account transactions, you’ll choose to receive a one-time verification code by phone call or by text message. You’ll then see a prompt to enter that code in your internet browser to verify your identity before you can access your account or continue with your transaction.
You will no longer be able to use a validated email address to receive verification codes. You should keep a personal email address on your TSP account to continue receiving important TSP information that may affect your account.

guess the markets will not like this
[h=1]Coronavirus: England goes into second lockdown for one month[/h]https://finance.yahoo.com/news/coronavirus-covid-19-update-uk-31-october-second-lockdown-details-190653778.html

Good article Valkyrie! Just incredible to see another lock down in England. Reportedly not as restrictive as the first one, but its interesting how relevant metrics are not reported to truly allow one to make an assessment of the severity of any increase. For example, media do not report metrics such as:
Total cases
Average weekly case increase
Total hospitalized
Total average weekly increase in hospitalizations
Total deaths
Total average weekly increase in deaths
Total deaths as a percentage of total cases.
Number of facilities nearing 95% capacity, etc.
Information metrics like that would allow folks to assess what's going on and prevent folks from freaking out... but that would not achieve the media's objectives, or back what tge politicians want to do. If the death rate or hospital utilization rates were increasing then a shut down might be justified. But somehow those numbers are not reported.

They reported number of cases are increasing...DUH...its a Pandemic! You can't stop a Pandemic! I think we have already learned you just need to make sure the cases do not increase at such a rate that hospitals can't handle the serious cases, and you shield and protect tte most vulnerable, who should reasonably lock down but must gave access to their primary family.

So Wow!. today's TSP POLL and the responses. "Do governors have the legal authority to limit the size of family gatherings in a private home?"

anybody that didn't vote "No" needs to go read their copy of the USC and the Bill of Rights.if u don't have or lost your copy it can be read here before it is gone and only in a display box.

UN 2030 Agenda
Goal 3) Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

Translation: Mandate 100+ vaccines for all children and adults at gunpoint or other means, Can't receive medical treatment, can't work at certain jobs, can't get on a plane. etc., etc., threatening parents with arrest and imprisonment if they refuse to cooperate. Push heavy medication use on children and teens while rolling out "screening" programs. Call mass medication "prevention" programs and claim they improve the health of citizens.

Most children already have the antibodies already yet decision makers at the local level think they are saving lives by closing schools while keeping nursing homes open.

How about those working in front line type jobs. What if they don't get the vaccination? Will there be workplace protections for them when they inevitably get passed up for promotion and are assigned the less desirable duties?

Hmmm, must be nice and cozy to be choosing to wrap oneself all up with that stance on rights and choice in such situations. Maybe it applies in such situations, and maybe there are other important factors/ considerations so maybe it should not. I do think I recall my active-duty military days (and those of my Dad and Grandfather), when we were due to get prescribed vaccinations - especially for overseas duty, we didn't really have the option and application those rights and choices... could have worked out badly, though for the most part and for the good of the USA and the Mission, it usually worked out fine... perhaps even great. Just thinking...
