Yesterday, I improved the algorithm (including TSP Models) making it much more accurate as evidenced by out-of-sample validation tests. I also increased the time frame from four days to six days. This will decrease the whipsaw and allow forecasts to be a 'little' off yet, remain profitable. Six days also seems to be more in line with the natural 'frequency' of GDX.
We'll see.:smile:
EDIT: NOTE: System still can't react to truly 'un-priced-in,' catastrophic news until the next day!

But, you learn, from dealing with the public often enough, that you have to specify the obvious lots of times.:smile:
EDIT: Some systems can generate signals the same day the news hits, if the markets are still open. Mine must wait until the next day. See what I did there...I specified the obvious.
