United States of America Flag

Very cool Tom put the flag thing in the banner. I assume for veterans day.

I have been burning use/lose lately and watching a lot of TV. I have noticed that many movies/documentaries/docudramas etc. do not show the correct period US flag. Many WWII era movies made recently show the current 50 star flag. Some stuff I have seen concerning Eisenhower that happened prior to 1959 or 1960 shows the 50 star flag.

The flag of the US had 48 stars from 4 Jul 12 to 4 Jul 59. It had 49 stars from 4 Jul 59 to 4 Jul 60. After that it is the current 50 star flag.

Yeah I know there were very few 49 star flags flown or shown.
