is two...two and that is it:

or is it two out of g:

G---->S---->G---->S---->G = two

?

tyvm :)

G - S - G / G - S - F - G / S - S - G

Are yall stuck on S fund?

There is a C and I fund ya know!

If possible its nice have what ever you want to have in equities at the first of the month. THen you can take a breather and make a another return to equities / bonds and then out again if you wish. Thats why I got in recently - now if we can just break all the resistance and get a Autumn rally and push back this Bear!

I figured it was the suckiest option, wish I could have the couresy of at least tow REAL IFT's out of G fund.....good ole thrift! :-(

Interesting concept. Unfortunately the FRTIB does not look at it that way.
However you do have unlimited moves to the G fund, after your 2/month IFT limit.
Example: You start the month in the G fund (2 IFT's). Your 1st IFT is 100% C fund (happy FAB) and then your 2nd IFT is 50% to the I and F funds. For the rest of the month you have unlimited moves to the G fund. You could alternate 5% from each fund on a daily basis into the G fund. After you use you 2 IFT's you do not have to move 100% of anything back to G at one time. You can move a small percent back to G daily if you wanted to. Or use the "<1% IFT option" to balance your fund percentages when needed.

awesome example, I never considered the small little g fund transfer option. I was locked up on big moves and thinking unlimitied g funds whoopee! your example helped me understand that part much better. :cheesy:
