I know this was brought up in the past, but I don't think it ever got anywhere. Wouldn't it be fun if a group of us got together for the weekend and did something fun together? I know we all live in different regions of the map but we can draw lines on the map and create regional groups. We can get together once a month or once a quarter. Details to be worked out later.

For example...If anyone came up to Pensacola, we could go zip lining on the Blackwater followed but a canoe/kayak trip on Coldwater Creek. Maybe drinks later that night at one of the local pubs on the beach?

Actually, a friend's daughter passed away yesterday unexpectedly. She was only 35. Then there was Showme...and the list goes on. Sometimes it seems that we are too busy with life and forget how fleeting it can be. We ofter hear someone say "I didn't even know his name." Or, "what a good person he was, wish I had met him." or "I never knew him."

I'd like to change that.

Looks like nobody's interested. Well, I am not taking this lying down. I'm going to Hawaii to hang out with my sista Kathy and drink some Mai Tais and raise a ruckus.

I think the best way to handle this is to purchase our own one way tickets to Hawaii. If Kathy wants to get rid of us, she'll have to purchase our tickets back.

Come on over, sistah! We have some great zip-line courses on the BI, plenty canoes around the beaches to go out on, and plenty ono mai tai's at Don the Beachcombers.
We might have to sit the ocean activities out for a while, there's been quite a few shark attacks the last few weeks, especially around Maui. But, no worries, sistah, plenty ruckus can do.

But, the last time we tried this I guess I drooled in the eggs. Frixxxx suddenly moved about as far away from me as he could!!! CoolHand doesn't visit anymore. Then again, CoolHand lives about as far away from me as he can get!!! Is it me

But, if there are any brave souls out there in SoCal I'm sure we can make something happen on a warm summer day/morning/night. I'll bring a bib next time:toung:

OK, Nnuut ! JP and I are calling your bluff !!! Turns out, we are neighbors, way out here in western FL...so now we need to know exactly where "Boiled Peanut, GA" is, so we can plan a trip for that rum, pig, and swim ! We'll BYOB...Send me a PM, if you don't want to share on the Board !!!

BTW...I LOVE boiled peanuts...better have some good ones on the menu !
