recently flew PHX-MHT via CLT to see kin on east coast. Spent 3 weeks with grandkids, one of whom I had never met. His first comment: "he has big ears".

Great visit. Flew to CLT and rented a car to see folks in SC. Drove to see folk in TN. Flew BNA to PHX 11 /16. Got sick 11/15. Flew anyway Covid test tomorrow.

Socially irresponsible I suppose. In reality with airline flight cancellations all around and the cost of staying in Nashville if anything was available what would most of you have done?

Covid related.

My cousin and his wife went to Chicago late September for his wife's nieces wedding. It had been postponed twice because of Covid. It was a small wedding of family and close friends. I think they said a little over 60 people. Everyone had their shots and that is why they had the wedding. Well someone had Covid and didn't know it and my cousin, his wife and his wife's three sisters and their husbands got it. My cousin got pretty sick and was hospitalized for two days but is doing fine now. Even if your careful it's dangerous.

Trip related.

This past Saturday my sister-in-law and her family were flying out of Tampa at 6am to come here for my wife's funeral (Sunday). They waited in line to check their bag and the agent told them she couldn't take their bag because they had stopped loading bags for their flight so she would have to rebook for the last flight out from Tampa to Cleveland. My SiL said keep the bag and send it on the next available flight so they could get on this flight because they were going up to Cleveland for her sisters funeral. My SiL was told they could not keep her bag but the agent assigned them seats on the last flight so they wouldn't get bumped (it was a full flight). To add insult to injury their flight was delayed almost an hour and a half, the plane was coming from Cincinnati. They made it in around 10:45pm Saturday and flew back yesterday (without a problem of course).

So sorry for your loss. God bless you.

Thanks everyone. It's been a rough 11 months but the first two weeks in November were the worst.
