He was one of my favorites. I enjoyed all his movies but Houdini was probably my favorite. His wife and co-star, Janet Lee, made the movie that much more enjoyable.

Definitely a black armband day.
Operation Petticoat and Some Like It Hot are in my personal movie collection. And I wish I had others: The Great Race, Suppose They Gave A War And Nobody Came, Sex And The Single Girl, Houdini, all wonderful movies. I had such a crush on him when I was a teenager .... But I personally think that his greatest "work" may have been Jamie Lee Curtis.
