Taking a loan from your TSP is not usually a good idea, but of course there may be times when it's the best option for you.

My advice... take the loan during a bear market. :)

Once the 50-day moving average falls below the 200-day moving average. Of course you'll be already be down 5% or so by then, which would probably be a good size loan, so I don't have all the answers. :D
