The I Fund tracks the EAFE index (ishares). This fund has displayed leadership as the overall world markets have experienced a global recovery. Now the ride won't last forever. Your job is to have an exit strategy in play and make sure you get top dollar for your shares. The charts posted follow the I fund using Technical Analysis. I have posted a daily and weekly chart. Study them.
Right now, the I fund has recently broken out of a Symmetrical Triangle pattern. This is known as a continuation pattern, because the breakout is continuing the previous trend. There was a throwback to the upper boundary of the triangle and if the pattern is to be successful the I fund will bounce off it.
Study the two charts below and use them to help you decide its future direction. The weekly chart of the I fund has caused me to be very cautious regarding the fund, it is extremely overbought.
