I am waiting for all the turmoil to shake out before making a move. Right now 9:41 pacific time it looks like the market is recovering but I wouldnt count on it at the end of today.

Just go with the flow....................if birchtree was around today, I'm sure he'd being saying "don't panic, all is well!" :shock:

Mlk-Man,

When I left for work this morning the Dow Futures were reading down 273 points for the opening. And I said to myself - just put on the blind fold and hand me a Pall Mall because I'm gonna take a $30K hit and I'm not going to panic - and I didn't. I believe this is the crises the Fed needs to hold the line on any more rate increases. Our economy needs to remain strong so we can lift up the EU countries. The market may at last be looking over the valley and to an economy with low interest rates, moderate continued GDP, and low inflation. This expansion will last a long time- heads will start talking about the business cycle being repealed again. Then it will be time to run. I am very surprised I made any gains today - it's these kinds of surprises that catch the emotional folks off guard. Once you've seen enough of them you realize they can happen at any time - and they are always welcome generally no matter the direction. But of course the upside motion is most pleasant when you are fully loaded and being persistent and patient. Do I have to tie you into the stirrups again? Dennis

You ain't gotta tie me in Birch, I'm 110% S fund tomorrow. Just shoot my horse if I try to play the "I" fund again anytime soon. :^

What's this board coming to? Birch wants to tie people into stirrups; Mlk implies he is a horse "whipper;" Tom's Web Developeris using the"ignore button"on him; Grandma wants me on the mailiing list of the American Family Association; and now SkyPilot wants us to hold hands and sing in a chorus of harmony!

Sugarandspice and everything bumbarse! LoL! One thing about predictions. They develop the imagination which in turn introduces more cognative thinking. Which is probably more benefical than one realizes, and if many of us will it. There is a possibility of it happening. If you understand this post than possibly were on the same wave length. If not don't kick your bumbarse for it. LOL!! "Hey Cowboy do you have a prediction about stocks?" "Ya sure. If I take off my boots, my feet will stink." "I said stocks not socks." "Oh! Nope not going there. I dont have enough guts to stomach it." LOL!!!
 
After all the analysis, speculation, and conjecturing, those are as good reasons as most.

I see you moved to the S fund this morning sugar. That fund should suit you better since in your case it represents the Stupid fund. I'm sure it is another well thought out move by you and your Supreme wisdom. The only time Supreme applies to you is when you order at the drive-thru.
 
Moved to I fund 100% based on my current levels. See talk thread for more info if you dare.


I keep getting the feeling the bottom will fall out today.
