sugarandspice's Account Talk

Re: sugarandspice account talk

WOW! Brilliant Sugar! Thanks for keeping us up to date on your insight into finance. It seems to me that the only real wisdom in that post is your experience with falling down. Sober up wench!

Sugar

Please stay out of other account talk threads. You are nothing but trouble and have nothing relevant to say or discuss. So what if people make claims of this or that. It doesn't matter. Let them be what they want to be and don't question it. Mind your own business Sugar!

It's on days like this that I'm glad I've found the Holy Grail. Lots of dividends coming in the first two weeks of March also. There is always a silver thread somewhere if one looks hard enough.

That's good rationale advice...........people could really end up hating you regardless of what happens. :D

Personally, I totally agree with your position. The cycle of dip buying has also produced a cycle of selling. Once the buying is abandoned (as in today), will get a cycle of failed supports. We are now sitting at a very critical level of support.

Regardless of how bad things get today, and even if there is a bit of green tomorrow morning, by the end of the week, you'll be happy you bailed. In May, the market flirted with this same threshold (the bottom of the long term channel) at 11:50 EST rebounded for about 30 minutes then followed through with back to back -2.0% days. I see the same thing beginning tomorrow.

Fight the battles worth fighting and don't waste your time and energy beating your head on that wall. Folks learn the reality of his ways one pullback at a time.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Went to the I fund 100%. I decided to treat this as a classic Abby Normal condition. (no brain) Get it? A no brainer....see I was trying to be clever toall the Young Frankenstein fans ...you know when Gene Wilder asks Marty where he got the .................ok forget it.

I went to the I fund because I got caught up in the goo goo gaa gaa of the I fund today. That better?

If goo goo gaa gaa will keep me out of the markets like yesterday, I'm all for it.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Nothing financially related but here's the question........

What movies do you stop the channel surf to watch when they are already running.

Come on, you know you all have some. What are they?

My short list
Jaws
The Shawshank Redemption
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
The Great Escape
My Name is Nobody
Reservoir Dogs
Dog Day Afternoon
Scarface
Glengarry Glen Ross
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest....seen this one the most......100+times
Getting too long ......stopping.....can't control the urge to keep going....must log off........

Some great movies listed! But for me, it has to be Caddyshack.

If that movie played 25 hours a day without commercials on a single channel, I would subscribe. Never gets old. Even today in one of my meetings there was a reference to someone throwing a "Baby Ruth in the simming pool."

One I'm sure you've never heard of; McCabe and Mrs Miller. 1973 with great snow scenes. How about; A Man Called Horse.
