sugarandspice's Account Talk

Re: sugarandspice account talk

It would be nice and things are setup to do it, but I think it would be wishful thinking. I will hold out hope though. Things are improving. Don't know if I'll stay in today. I will wait until the last minute to decide today.

I just IFT'd my account and the TSP website is extremely slow. If you do anything last minute, I assume you'll use the thrift line, I don't know if it is clogged as well.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

I do use the thriftline almost exclusively. However yesterday when I called for the closing share prices I heard " all lines are currently busy" In all the calls I have made to the thriftline I have never heard that message. Maybe trouble in TSP?

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Sugar,

In case you haven't noticied it is all red today. And getting redder! You know red Sugar. Like the red in your bloodshot eyes. Like the red in your panties because you don't believe in sanitary products. Like the red under your armpits because you insist on scratching the hairs off instead of shaving. It's red Sugar! Red means bad. Why S fund? You shoulda went to the parking lot.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

The lovers of pain - sounds like somebody else I know. My last DCA was at $15.60, may get it cheaper than that today.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Sugar,

How did the betting go this weekend? With (C)boyz to G(men) out of the way, the last hurdle is the Saint's - there's still time to become an Eagles fan.

Back to shop talk - per Tom's comments are you sticking around just long enough to regain some of Friday's spanking before the next plunge or are you staying in for the next big rally? What's Spice's take?

Re: sugarandspice account talk

I am still sick about the Cowbys. They should have won that game easily.
Seems Romo had other things on his mind like Carrie Underwood.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Went to the F fund for a hideout. Dont like the feel of things and I can easily get sucked in to trying to regain(chase after) my losses(almost 2%) I incurred already this year. Patience.

And it looks like Jeff Garcia just maybe the next Neil O'Donnell.

My plan this year is to do as little flip/flopping between CP and stocks as possible, so I'm not chasing either. This market is impossible to call. The S&P looks like its finding support but why at this level? If you look at the NYSE composite, it looks like the perfect buy opportunity. I agree with you on the gut feeling. Somethings not right and I can't really put my finger on it.

Are you looking for Jeff to get to the superbowl just to watch him choke?

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Actually Garcia is one of those journeymen QB's that I like to see get there (Trent Dilfer). This is going to be his last shot and I wouldn't mind seeing him get the trophy. There are too many other scenarios I prefer though. I still have a thing for San Diego from the Fouts/Chandler/Jefferson/Winslow/Muncie era.

There is a certain resiliency to the market that I can't get on board with. Maybe I should drop the Sword of Damacles attitude and take my case to the Snort Court.

Is San Diego the home team?

....Patience.

Come on Sugar! Patience? You have no patience. Like the time you couldn't wait to go to the bathroom while standing in line at McDonalds and decided to let your Depends handle the job, only to find out that they have a 1 quart capacity and you overflowed onto the floor where some toddlers had their Happy Meal toys. And the smell Sugar. It lingered for days. Don't talk to us about patience.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

I fund eh Sugar? Obviously another well planned out move by you. I know your in-depth analysis will be validated by a nice price for I fund shares tomorrow.
