sugarandspice's Account Talk

Re: sugarandspice account talk

You are always welcome at my place. It's healthy that we can agree to disagree. You will most likely find that most investing styles change over time. Spaf says a retiree should be in capital preservation mode and I disagree with that concept. When you reach retirement stage is when you have the most cash and that is when one should be most aggressive - it takes money to make money. A smart investor starts young and builds knowledge to be able to act aggressively with reduced risk. Come on over anytime - really.

birch

i agree with you 100% about staying aggresive after retirement, but in doing you have to do it wisely. i hope to do it wisely. as you mentioned that is when you have the most $$$ its time to parlay that mess !!!
i thank all of you for the info and knowledge.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Not really so bold if you really look at it. Is it?

Do you guys expect it to lose tomorrow?

I don't. It may not be the big gains of today like you expect but I think I'll pick up a little. And if an -FV occurs then I'll pick up some I don't deserve as well.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Ok. I was wrong. (again)

Its looking like the move into I was a good call yesterday!

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Maybe not. The dollar is getting it's butt kicked which is good for the I, but if the US continues it's tank job into the 100's, I funders may get -FV'ed. Then the problem of staying in tomorrow to get the FV back arises. If it looks bad for tomorrow then only a smaller loss will happen. I think I will take what I get today. Don't like tomorrow.

Come on in Threadkilla. Shoot this one down too.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Ms. Aspartame,

Thankyou for the setup - you are my number one bunny hopper and right on cue. Besides, I like the ambiance in here. Thanx again for the invitation, now it's not trespassing, right. I don't like false accusations. Take care.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Even if our markets continue down or the dollar strengthens this afternoon, it should still be better than sitting in the C or S funds today I'd think.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

Threadkilla,
Your welcome anytime. I knew your ego couldn't resist. Speaking of right on cue. My bunny-hop to the F fund was far less predictable by people here than your response to my Threadkilla invite. Your getting played.

Re: sugarandspice account talk

You know it is quite possible for the USM to recover this afternoon and we get a + FV today...............:D
