Stocks could see a double-digit drop in the coming months, warns Wells Fargo

Even as geopolitical tensions continue to ratchet up, there’s much to be bullish about in the stock market in the New Year — maybe too much, according to Chris Harvey, the head of equity strategy at Wells Fargo Securities.

Very possible to see a large drop in the near future. Nobody can think that double-digit gains can continue in perpetuity, and it’s been a while since we’ve had a drop.

Take a look at what GOLD has done over the past couple of weeks. The price of gold has jumped- and that tells me there is still a lot of tension and flight to hard assets - indicative of a potential stock plunge ahead.

At times like this - this is when I WiSH the TSP was operating that “market window” that Congress authorized, but the TSP never set up. I would love to be able to put some TSP money aside right now in a precious metal fund of some kind.
