Will the market go back up for a while only to get a downgrade from Standard and Poor's to throw the market into a big crash?

Who knows !

Does it bother anyone that here we are, more than 18 hours since the Whitehouse announced that they have a deal, and you STILL CANNOT FIND A COPY OF ANY BILL on the internet yet?

And they are supposed to vote on it in a few hours?

And there is NO copy yet available?

Anyone?

Bueller?...

Bueller?...

Bueller?

That's no surprise. They want to keep it secret from the general public as much as possible. It's what they've been doing for most of the interim proposals they had been working on the past 2 weeks.

No copy of the bill yet that I can find. Moody's though did reiterate they would affirm US rating if ceiling is raised... haven't heard on s&p rating... i'm sure they'd do the same.

What time is the vote?

This Bill is putting off the inevitable, just CUT the SPENDING!
A Deal, Not a Solution

The net result of this deal is that – if every penny of the proposed cuts actually occurs – our official national debt will rise to about $20 trillion by 2020. That it otherwise would have reached $23 trillion is scant comfort. With our country careening toward a fiscal cliff, Congress has chosen to tap on the breaks, not change direction.

Will we ever have a competent Legislative and Executive branch of Government that will actually help our country and not just themselves?

Warning: Crosspost. But here's the bill
Bill was not posted until 1:45 AM this morning. Time for legal speed reading 101:

This is not a sure thing yet, don't let anyone tell you that it is. There are going to be a lot of Legislators who will want to vote this down while assuming others will vote for this, and some who will take one look at it and say "Forget this noise!"
As the old adage says, "Someone will do it. When you find Someone, please give me their phone number."
