Stanley Druckenmiller says the stock market is in an ‘absolute raging mania’

“Everybody loves a party ... but, inevitably, after a big party there’s a hangover,” billionaire Stanley Druckenmiller told CNBC.

“Right now, we’re in an absolute raging mania. We’ve got commentators encouraging companies to do stock splits. Companies then go up 50%, 30%, 40% on stock splits. That brings no value, but the stocks go up.”

Stanley Druckenmiller sees ‘hard landing’ in 2023 with a possible deeper recession than many expect

“Our central case is a hard landing by the end of ’23,” Druckenmiller said at CNBC’s Delivering Alpha Investor Summit in New York City Wednesday. “I will be stunned if we don’t have recession in ’23. I don’t know the timing but certainly by the end of ’23. I will not be surprised if it’s not larger than the so called average garden variety.”

Stanley Druckenmiller gives Biden’s economic policies an ‘F,’ blames the Fed for reigniting inflation

Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller on Tuesday blasted fiscal and monetary authorities, including Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Fed Chair Jerome Powell, for causing high inflation.

“Bidenomics, If I was a professor, I’d give him an ‘F,’” Druckenmiller said.

Druckenmiller also called himself a “man without a candidate” as he feels a Donald Trump presidency would fuel inflation.

“To some extent, I feel like they fumbled on the five yard line,” he said of the Fed.

Hmm... in S. D.'s football analogy - well, fumbles (that are recovered by the opponent) are never good, yet those done at one's own 5-yard-line are worse than those done at the opponent's 5. So, Stan, which part of the field did the FED's fumble take place... and was it recovered by the opponent or not (per your "feel")? No, I didn't read the content at the URL your provided, as I just read a bunch of Hussman's stuff per another of your posts... which was very good, but leaves no time to read the link here in this post. I'm sure it is good too. I'm "nervous" about our world and economic times yet it seems we've been in uncharted territory for nearly a decade - more like two or actually, 5-decades. The nation's (and world's) politics has gotten wackier in that time too. So, I feel need to be cautious which helped me with my TSP when I turned more that way in May 2007, but it hasn't paid generous growth being conservative most of the time since then. Hmm.
