The Lilly Pad Report
July 17, 2007

In todays action the market appeared to be losing some of it's momentum. we had profit taking twice in the day. Kind of getting skiddish when there is a technology thrust. Of course the media didn't help with all their hipe over a new DOW record. However we don't have any good entry points. So, it's sort of a capital preservation mode. The S&P appeared to be consolidating gains, but resistance was indecisive. Small caps are starting to struggle at resistance, noted by todays candlestick which was a gravestone.

The charts indicate that we are overbought. The Bollinger bands are widening which could mean increased volatility, and pricing is at the top of the bands. The Slow Stochastics is well within the overbought range.

What could we expect?

This appears to be a good adjustment! But where is the bottom and how do you re-enter.

Well hopefully we will get a double bottom reversal (fingers-crossed) some day.

Patience!......;)

The Lilly Pad Report
July 27, 2007 [Noon]

Yak, Doodles, Tea Leaves, and The Lilly Pad.

Kingdom Yak:
Yak.......................................We need to focus on what is transpiring; watch the pricing. Bottom fishing is a mistake at this point. We need solid indicators i.e., a double bottom reversal (see March in chart below). We don't know where the bottom is?.... After the sellers took control yesterday, the investors went into a panic mode!......

Doodles:
Stops.......................................Alert (-1%)....Trail (-2%)
.....SPX........See Le Charts..........X1538...........X1523

Tea Leaves:
Yakndoodles...............................It's capital preservation.

The Lilly Pad
Location....................................100%-G.

[Spaf's Financial Advice Inkarpetrated]

For a modeest price or trade (sorry no racoons or squirrels) we will be offering financial advice on the sock market! Should have the equipment set up shortly to analyze market conditions. I couldn't get a license, so I borrowed one of my dogs old tag's.

This will be a test run, before I ask "T" for a premium service.

No! Thats the equipment salesmen guy! He said it would take a while to set it up, in the mean time I'm going over their lesson guide.

I'm a tellen ya, Ebb, Fred, Sharkey and "T" better watch out!....:D

I think I'm on a run!.....

Spaf, is that really you in the picture?

Well, I hope for everyone's sake that the Fed, and other central banks take some action to fix this mess they made for us under Uncle Alan...Too much easy money for too long...now we have to pay the piper...

Sounds lke a good time to head back to the Lily Pad Spaf..

IMO, A liquidity balance needs to be restored...things are simply out of kelter..Hopefully, today - maybe tomorrow gets this correction behind us..

Of course, this is the 7th year of the economic cycle and was predicted to be a down year by Priceton U some time ago...we'll have to wait and see if their gurus are good at fortune telling..:D

Of course, I try to follow Nnuts in all my TSP decision making, since we both seem to like those downward trending charts..:D

Good investing to all!!!!

Hi BN:

Me too!! Spaf should structure it like a newspaper for seniors...

Events for the Day..based on Spaf's Market Research..(i.e ring toss, horseshoes, shuffleboard)

Meals for the Day (based on Maret Research... (i.e. cafeteria food, hospital food, gourmet meals, just dessert)

General Health...(i.e. ironman, 10 minute workout, just a cold, terminal condition)

Spaf, my guess is that you would come up with something a whole lot better..:D:D:D

Hope all is well...

Account Talk

Spaf

Yea, I'm in Premium Services. Love it!
I like Reverend Sharks commentary, he is a good protector!
I like the EbbCharts for his optimism on getting the best!
I like Trader Fred for the serious analysis he does.

However, I may or may not follow their percentages.
Remember I'm retired!

So here is what I do.
(recipe follows)
1 part Rev. Shark
1 part Trader Fred
1 part EbbChart
1 part tsptalk
1 part Sentiment
1 part technical analysis (charts)
1 part fundamentals
2 parts retirement caution
remove any BS from CNBC
bake at 350 for 1 hour
Wala! --> My Allocation 40%G, 10%F, 20%C, 10%S and 20%I. Gee, I might have over-baked that one!.......:embarrest:

That sounds like a great recipe Spaf...

I think great chef's always use the best ideas of others to inspire..
