How to insert a youtube video into your post...

Let's use this video as an example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3FQtJlyj6Y

Using "Post Reply" (not quick reply) you will see a youtube icon in the menu

. Click that and two tags will show up...
HTML: 
[youtube]  [/youtube]
...Put the code that follows the "v=" from the video link you want to post between the tags.
In the example above it would be b3FQtJlyj6Y.

HTML: 
[youtube]b3FQtJlyj6Y[/youtube]
Using "Quick Reply" you actually have to manually type in the tags...
HTML: 
[youtube]  [/youtube]

... then put the b3FQtJlyj6Y code between them.

And here's what you get...

Bump. Lot of questions on how to post youtube videos. Look at the first post and if that does not help ask me here and I will walk you through it.

The trick is have two window open. One with the youtube and one here that you are replying to.

Copy just the part AFTER the = from the youtube address or url. It is easiest if you use the "post reply" icon instead of the "quick reply" box.

Once you are in the message window click on the "youtube" icon and you will get a set of brackets. Right in between the brackets right click and paste the address you copied from the youtube address.

Then post and you should have it.

You can insert Gifs up to 18 kbs I think, over that is not allowed unless you are running it from a server to attach it. Some Gifs could be corrupted or something. Select it and upload using Manage Attachments, click the paper clip. After it is uploaded close the Manage Attachment box, then place your cursor where you want the Gif to be. Click on the arrow next to the paper clip and select the attachment. Here's one, 4.7 KBs.
