rcknfrewld's account talk

Hey dude - I have Pearl Jam's first 4 albums, up through No Code. Then I went to Japan in 1997 and kind of stopped following American music and mainstream entertainment. (I also stopped following the NFL after that :embarrest:). I loved the first three albums, but thought Eddie and the boys were starting to get a little masturbatory in No Code. Just a bunch of established musicians getting high and jamming, not caring about making songs that would appeal to the outside world.

So what do you think of their music after that? I looked up their discography on wikipedia and saw they put out 5 more albums. Any worth investing in?

Me talking about Pearl Jam is like Thrill Matthews talking about Obama....very biased.....the self -titled album from 2006 is their best in recent years...my god that's 6 years ago....I think none of their lps are epic nor classic, but they are different, much like Radiohead tries to be...I would go with their self-titled album 2006....hopefully you will come back for more....still trying to post PJ videos.....you would like them if I can ever get them posted....
Looking up past tours....they played Japan five nights in a row back in 2003....you should have been there
