Problem setting up my new account

I'm having issues setting up my new account in TSP. I get all the way to the end of the set up - hit the last button - and I get an empty light blue screen with a dark blue banner at the top with the TSP logo. I've tried to set it up multiple times with the same result each time. My ad blocker is off for the site (no ads showing up as blocked anyway). I've gone back to the log in screen after getting stuck here and tried to use my new username and password and it says I need to set up a new account so something isn't "taking". Advice?

I had the same problem. I found that if I use Microsoft EDGE instead of chrome I was able to setup my account. Even after setup was successful I could log in with chrome but could not make changes to my account so I logged in on Edge and the site functioned properly.

I can’t even get past the first page. Wasn’t sure if it was the fact that my last name has an apostrophe? Called TSP—first time call hung up after being on hold for 90 minutes. Second time was on hold for 2 hours before a contractor answered. She had me clear cookies/cache on chrome and try again. Still didn’t work. She said I should try again later in the day trying different browsers. She mentioned that 10 contractors had quit since last week!

I had the same problem and got very frustrated after several days of trying. I got some advice on this forum that I tried and was finally able to set up my account. One thing I was advised to do was to make sure I was on Windows 11 and that it was up to date. I was on 11 but there was a recent update that I had not applied yet. So I did. I also cleared out the cache and history before that last attempt. I was also advised to have no special characters in my username. I did all the above and it worked. I don't know which if any of these made a difference or if it was just by turn to be successful. Regardless, I now have access created. Hope you are able to have the same fate.

Thanks everyone. I took Amoeba's advice and tried the log in through my phone. It eventually worked, but took me resetting my password again before the first log in. Not sure exactly what I did, but am now able to get in through my laptop and also through my phone. Now, I need answers about the mutual fund window. . .

Use the Edge or Firefox browser each time and there will be no issue.

I have tried several times with similar issues as other people have experienced. The only option was for mailing me the access link or whatever.
