Pres. Candidate's View on Civil Servants

Has anyone seen "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" movie. In it,
Charles Durning sings a little political song which reminds me of what
I just got done reading. Its called " The Sidestep" and the tune goes
something like this; :notrust:

"Ooh I love to dance a little sidestep, now they see me now they don't-
I've come and gone and, ooh I love to sweep around the wide step,
cut a little swathe and lead the people on." :suspicious:

 I loved the way Durning could turn into the hat on his head at just the right time to make his point in that song! Too funny!:laugh:

One of the best descriptions I ever heard of politicians was years ago when singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot (remember him? one of my all-time favorites) was being interviewed. He said, "Politicians are like bananas. They hang around in bunches, they're yellow, and there's not a straight one among 'em!" ...Now I hope that's not true, but it's still funny! :D

"Endless Wire" and "Sundown" are still two of my favorites.
