I'm not sure this is the right place for this thread but didn't find a "message board for dummies" anywhere.

This is a test. I had a problem posting an attachment in another thread so that it showed in the message body and not just as an attach notification. I didn't want to clutter up the Memorial Day thread with this.

Thanks to Spaf and Buster for their help.

Edit [Spaf] ----> Use the manage attachment button! Looks like a paper clip in the above icons!....:)

(Buster) a helping hand...

Well, looks like I figured it out.

While asking questions, once you have started to submit a post, if you change you mind (like maybe coommon sense takes over again) is there any graceful way out? Or do you just type "never mind" and submit it.

I have seen this format on other message boards and had similar questions. Is there a tutorial anywhere?

Thanks and remember what Memorial Day represents.

Edit [Spaf] ---> Normally U have a 30 minute edit window. After that just PM a moderator.

Hi PessO -

Sorry I missed this post last week. There is an FAQ link in the horizontal main menu along the top of each page that will give links to some common message board "how to"s. The direct link is... http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/faq.php. It may not have everything, but a lot of the basics are covered.

Also, in the Member Introduction forum, there are a couple of sticky threads that have some info for posting how to's.

Thanks Tom

I looked in most of those places but guess I needed to learn by doing.

As I have been told before, I may not be the sharpest bulb in the box but I'm not the brightest tack either:laugh:
