Agree, oil has been trading in a tight $2 range all month. No reason to hike gas prices like that.

Left this morning to pick up the grandkids to go to the zoo and gas was $2.89. Coming back home this afternoon gas jumped to $3.29. This is just nuts.

Didn't want to keep posting gas prices in the Tariff thread.
Went out for breakfast this morning. Then grocery shopping and then a car wash. OK so what does this have to do with gas prices.
Well Friday morning most gas stations I passed were $2.72 to $2.79/gal. That afternoon around 4pm the Speedway by me jumped to $3.49/gal. Most other stations near me were still around $2.79. Yesterday Speedway was back to $2.72/gal. This morning everyone is $3.49/gal. This is nuts.

That is nuts and it sounds like gouging. Nothing in the price of oil would suggest that kind of jump in gasoline.

Got gas today for $2.53/gal. Some stations showing $2.89/gal. today. It's going up because I was surprised it was around $2.53 prior to the Thanksgiving travel.

Two hours after I got the gas for $2.53 the BP station showed $2.89. I'm glad I drove by mid-morning instead of the afternoon.

Ohio, on way to work in morning on Monday t was 2.49. When I got gas at lunch it was 2 89.

I got some In-Laws that live in Michigan, they are proud of their fuel.

The town 45 miles away? $2.78

The funny thing is- that farther town gets its gas at the dock in my town. It comes in by ship, so is the same gasoline.
