Well Nnuut, did you notice that Walmart as a whole is staying 3 to 7 cents higher than some of the other stations. It's their 10 cent savings ploy. If you use their card you save 10 cents (3 to 7). I got one of their cash cards and had to deactivate it when I got home to read the inside cover. $3.00 a month and $3.00 to reload it. I would have to fill up 4 or more times a month to save anything. Well the good story is they refunded in all after two weeks. Wow $3.00 a month to ues your own money. Didn't check their CC rates but it probly makes money over the 10 cent savings which goes to 5 centa when the promotion is over, What a money maker?:(

I'm looking for a new gas station.:)

A pleasantly surprising twist..

100% pure gasoline at CONOCO was posted today for $3.05, whereas the 10% ethanoil blend at 7-11 was at $3.07...

Gas Prices Continue Their Retreat -- But Will It Last?

Fears about the price at the pump spiraling out of control have faded as national gasoline have steadily dipped, giving cash-strapped consumers a bit of relief.
Analysts chalk the modest declines up to economic concerns and seasonal factors and some believe the national average price of gas may eventually dip below $3 a gallon.
But don’t get too accustomed to the more modest prices because as long as the U.S. economy avoids a double-dip recession, they likely won’t last much longer than the first few months of 2011.

“We better enjoy what we see for the next few weeks because I do think we’re going to see a lot of upward pressure on crude, gasoline, diesel and heating oil prices,” said Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at the Oil Price Information Sevice.
