Crude oil falls on dollar, China concerns

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures traded at a two-week low Tuesday, hit by a rising dollar, weaker equities and ongoing concerns that China would soon announce price controls amid inflation jitters.
Crude for December delivery [CLZ10] declined $2.40, or 2.9%, to $82.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract expires at the end of trading Tuesday. http://markets.usatoday.com/custom/...S&guid={C9C15E68-F18F-11DF-A4C6-00212804637C}

Gas (and there is still plenty to go around yet, contrary to what Carter said)..dropped .02 to $2.65 today.

Crude oil drops ahead of weekly supply data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Crude oil futures fell early on Wednesday, pressured by lingering concerns that Chinese moves to curb lending might hit demand, and ahead of weekly U.S. supplies data.

That is what gets me ..LOL..How the hell is it a surprise?..Did someone forget to go and dip the tanks last night?..and this morning they dip them and find that the level is less than they expected, or did someone siphen off a few billion gallons when they went to breakfast?..Surprise!:D
 
It's a MUM-BO JUMBO MYSTERY to me! Must be all of those Northerners using heating Oil to heat their homes, I know people are not in a traveling mood this time of the year. Their fuel gages are broken!

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures jumped early Thursday as hope mounted for an aid package to Ireland, while U.S. jobless claims rose less than expected in the latest week.

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures slumped on Friday after China lifted the reserve requirement for its banks, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke was critical of Beijing’s currency policy.
Crude oil for January delivery [CLF11] , the most active contract, fell 27 cents, or 0.4%, to $82.13 a barrel. [more]

Benchmark crude for December delivery [CLZ10] , which expires Friday after the market closes, retreated 87 cents, or 1.1%, to $80.98 a barrel.

I seen a New gas station with gas at $2.48 today and my usual monitor station is now at $2.59
