Crude futures stumble back to a loss

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures staggered between slight losses and gains Monday as the commodity dealt with a stronger dollar and a recent rally in prices.
Crude oil for December delivery [CLZ10] fell 34 cents, or 0.4%, to $86.51 a barrel, having bounced between an intraday low of $85.96 and an intraday high of $87.59 during the session.

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures staggered between slight losses and gains Monday as the commodity dealt with a stronger dollar and a recent rally in prices.
Crude oil for December delivery [CLZ10] fell 34 cents, or 0.4%, to $86.51 a barrel, having bounced between an intraday low of $85.96 and an intraday high of $87.59 during the session.

Norm..I have to admit..I MISS your daily, if even the semi-daily crude price updates..:(

Well,,,, it was something I had to update about 7 times a day, it seemed to me hardly anyone was interested in the data and the trends, there were a few that checked it out daily but not many, so after about 4 years I finally stopped due to lack of interest. I still think that it's really a great tool even for predicting Market Direction. I think they will be really interested when Oil reaches $140 a Barrel again, and it looks like it's going that way due to the Poor Dollar catching HELL from the FED. Guess I just got LAZY?:laugh:

Edmonton-based Wavefront Technology Solutions Inc., which designs solutions for oil well stimulation and secondary oil recovery, reports that its Powerwave technology has improved recovery from existing oil fields by up to 20 percent and increased the lifetimes of existing wells by over 10 years. SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures ended a meandering Thursday right back where they left off, at once feeling the pinch of a rising dollar, cheering Chinese refining data, and still basking in the glow of a surprise decline in inventories earlier in the week.

Although I am in complete agreement with tighter regulations and drilling rules and safeguards to prevent another BP like mishap..but not to the point of forcing the industry to Brazil and then we send them support money for their exploration efforts..there has to be a middle ground somewhere...let's not choke them to death.:worried:

Crude oil slumps on concerns over China

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures slumped Friday, tracking a broad move lower in global equities and commodities, as investors’ concerns mounted that China may tighten lending conditions to tame inflationary pressures.
Crude for December delivery [CLZ10] recently fell $1.22, or 1.4%, to stand at $86.61 a barrel.

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Oil futures recovered a bit Monday after the prior session’s sharp selloff, finding some support from a slate of mergers that also lifted U.S. equities.

Crude oil falls on dollar, weaker equities

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures traded at a two-week low Tuesday, hit by a combination of a rising dollar, weaker equities and reports that China would announce price controls amid inflation jitters.
Crude for December delivery [CLZ10] declined $1.71, or 2%, to $83.18 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract expires at the end of trading day Tuesday. http://markets.usatoday.com/custom/...S&guid={C9C15E68-F18F-11DF-A4C6-00212804637C}
