Gas price relief could be weeks awayhttp://us.rd.yahoo.com/finance/news/cnnm/SIG=10n9igp4d/*http://money.cnn.com/

Boosting the nation's oil supply could lower gas prices as much as 50 cents a gallon, but relief at the pump is still weeks away.
News that the Department of Energy will tap 30 million barrels of oil from its Strategic Petroleum Reserve to alleviate Libyan supply disruptions sent oil prices sharply lower Thursday. Many consumers hope that means gas prices -- now averaging well above $3.50 a gallon -- will quickly decline.
But crude oil is already down about 20% since peaking at $113.93 on April 29. Gas prices, however, are only off 9% from a high of $3.985 in March.
"It doesn't necessarily mean we'll see a ripple effect at the pump right away," noted Phil Streible, senior market strategist with futures broker Lind-Waldock.
Lower oil prices generally indicate that gas prices will fall too, although it may be weeks before consumers actually pay less at the pump.
It takes about 30 days to refine one barrel of crude oil into about 30 gallons of gasoline, said Robert Sinclair Jr., a spokesman for auto club AAA NY. That means it takes about a month for an oil price decline to translate into cheaper gas. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Gas-p...95.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=3&asset=&ccode=

I won't be around much tomorrow if any, going on a trip and will be back Sunday night. Best of luck tomorrow.:D
DRILL BABY DRILL!

We all know that is a crock of BS, as we've all seen gas prices change almost overnight, as soon as oil prices changed..Especially as oil prices go up.

US and others plan biggest release of reserve oil
NEW YORK (AP) — The United States and other nations that depend on oil imports will release and sell 60 million barrels of crude from emergency stocks in an effort to ease the strain of high oil prices on the global economy.
The release by the International Energy Agency, a group of more than two dozen countries, covers only what the world uses roughly every 16 hours. But it was enough to send oil prices lower, at least for the moment.
In addition to helping the struggling economies of the U.S. and Europe, analysts said the move was meant as a rebuke to OPEC, which has refused to increase oil production to bring down prices.
