Oil Slick Stuff

Gasbuddy just sent out an alert saying my state pump price expected to jump today from $4.09 to $4.19-$4.25.

(E85 price is $3.19 still. :>)

It seems that Mr. Obama has changed his priorities a bit, I wonder why Oil wasn't #1 over 2 years ago? He's is doing NOTHING but talking, while he is continuing to limit Oil Exploration in the USA, actions speak much louder than words.

The oil will go down when the dollar goes up. The oil is not high, the dollar is weak. The dollar depends on the Fed (Bernanki and his club members). I also hear Bernanki printing $$$$ is causing a depleting inflation, (a huge torpedo for Obama):)

You are correct that is the main reason, there are more.:D

Oil prices slip 2% after bin Laden's death

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Oil prices slipped early Monday, as investors breathed a sigh of relief following news that U.S. forces had killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
Crude for June delivery fell $2.07, or nearly 2%, to $111.86 a barrel in early morning trading.

Since the US crude price is also the Middle East price, last night's action was one of the only ways the President can lower oil prices.:toung: Go Special Forces!

Jokes aside, really, the price change today shows how much sentiment and not actual oil supply and demand plays into oil prices. Wasn't the oil exchange supposed to get rid of speculation? Bah.
