Gas averaging $2.96 around my area, unless you drive a diesel rig, then it is $3.41.

Gas is $2.59 and diesel $2.99 in the midwest. Still $2 higher than it should be.:)

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures rose Monday as the dollar resumed its decline, hitting a 15-year low against the Japanese yen, after the weekend’s Group of 20 gathering produced little reason to hold it.
Crude for December delivery [CLZ10] added $1.31, or 1.6%, to $83.01 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It earlier hit an intraday high of $83.37 a barrel.[more]

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures overcame mid-session dips to close higher Monday as the dollar came off its lows but remained weaker after the weekend’s Group of 20 gathering.
Crude for December delivery [CLZ10] added 83 cents, or 1%, to $82.52 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It earlier hit an intraday high of $83.37 a barrel.[more]

BP won't quit its businesses in the U.S. and must keep drilling for oil in deep water in the Gulf of Mexico despite the damage to its reputation wrought by the huge oil spill there this summer, the company's new Chief Executive Robert Dudley said Monday.[more]
