No but the soon to be...... 80 to 100 dollar a barrel will show how much value our money is losing due to bail out printing press, 60 a barrel is not the end it will continue to go higher.....to keep up with the debaseing of the US Dollar. It wont be a year from now.... in 30 to 90 days.:mad:

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Oil prices hovered above $60 a barrel Friday as the dollar lost ground on growing woes over the creditworthiness of the U.S. and as a report showed that demand for oil is recovering in China.
A backdrop of continued economic weakness kept a weight on oil prices.
Light sweet crude for July delivery fell 51 cents to $60.54 a barrel Friday at 9:42 am E.T. after reaching as high as $61.98 earlier in the session.
The falling dollar supported oil prices.[more]

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures fell below $60 a barrel Tuesday on expectations that OPEC will not cut production quotas at a Thursday meeting and as the U.S. dollar rose against the euro, putting downward pressure on dollar-denominated oil prices.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is unlikely to cut its production at the meeting in Vienna, analysts said. Instead, the cartel will ask for a better compliance to earlier cuts. In currencies, the dollar was lifted from flight-to-quality flows following North Korea's nuclear test Monday.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Oil prices rebounded Tuesday to their highest level this year as a triple-digit rally on Wall Street pulled crude off its earlier lows.
Violence in oil-rich Nigeria cut off supply pipelines, contributing to the price lift. At OPEC's upcoming meeting, investors expect the organization will leave production quotas unchanged.
Light, sweet crude for July delivery rose 78 cents, or 1.3%, to settle at $62.45 a barrel Tuesday. [more]

Gasoline locally up another dime this afternoon- Heck, I thought it would drop after the long weekend, but no- up a dime instead.

now at $2.69
 
'Offshoots of recovery' for oil seen

Saudi oil minister expects oil to hit $75 to $80 a barrel soon as economy picks up.

VIENNA (Reuters) -- The global economy has strengthened enough to cope with oil at $75-$80 a barrel and that level will be hit soon as fuel demand picks up, Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi said on Wednesday.
Oil has already climbed from a low of $32.40 last December to six-month highs well above $60 a barrel this week.

I just heard someone somewhere sneezed near a pipeline of somekind....that should be worth another 0.10
 
Has anyone heard any logical explanation of all those fiber cable "accidental cuttings" which happened a while back?
