A bunch of us dove in the pond yesterday without knowing how deep it is. Here I am waiting for the results of the Jobs Report knowing there is a better than 60% (I guess) chance it may be HIGHER than expected, bad news if it is, Hell-Of-A-Move if it's moderate. This is what I call a high risk move, maybe a stupid move. Well, let the chips fall as they may, we have taken the dive and can't turn around now. Hope there are no stumps just under the water!

Staying where I am for now (100% "G"), everything seems to be trending down (except the "I", barely). Dollar has been up, Oil is trending up, Techs are taking a hit etc.

Ya, never know what the market is going to do!!
I haven't seen a reason for the turn around today except buyers just felt better about the economy, all of those people just had a stroke of positive sentiment at the same time. They must know something I don't know? Insider info, that's it, AH HA!!! Crooks are everywhere! It's crazy, crazy as a NNUUT or a S&S or, or You know who!:nuts:
My SYSTEM must have failed me!! Yeah right!!!

Maybe they got a warm fuzzy from the President's address on the economy.

Really, I think you're right, because his estimate on the economy was wrong. Sounds like a good plan to me. Deficit didn't go down, just the estimate of the deficit was rigged.

Looks like some of us think we have hit the bottom? HUUUMMmmmmm?
Have we hit the top of the Oil rally? HHHUMMMmmm?
Will unrest in Nigeria, Iran, and what appears to be a war between Israel and Lebanon, will it be over tomorrow? HHUUUUUMMMmmmm?
Sounds mighty risky to me?

Good questions Nnuut. My though is the war won't end tomorrow but there will be diplomatic advances in the near term and the markets will move up and down with the geo political news and technical news of the markets. Tom appears to have a good read on the technical and emotional side of the markets. I think the geo political side is a bit underated. I am hanging out in "G". I like you wit and what I see as the ability to not take all this to seriously. HH

Staying 100% "G", too much on the calender next week for me, CPI, Core CPI and others. Thats not encluding the WAR, Oil and all of the other stuff that is directing the market. Monday is rather weak and may workout alright if things get better over seas. Hell I don't know, but risky. When we get out of this bogg, there might be one hell of a rally!!

Hey!!! Israel stop the war for two days and we can make 2%+ I bet-ya! Be NIMBLE!, this is likely to get really nasty. Just hope that IRAN stays out of this thing.:nuts: I really like the old "G" fund right now.
