I know it's not a good idea to exit to the "G" fund on a big down day, but it appears the bottom is way down the charts.

shouldn't we be considering jumping into stocks because the market is dropping on fear? this drop will bring the share prices of the TSP down and we can get more shares for our money so when the bounce occurs tomorrow(maybe) and for a few days because the smart money will try to get in on some up swing for a little money making off the THANKSGIVING/SANTA rally that occurs for a week this time of year? the fear of the euro markets and the US super Committe is going to generate low stock prices only to see them come back up 3-4% after "BLACK FRIDAY". just my thoughts.

I'm still watching and there seems to be a small retracement happening, but look back at the last time the market went under the bottom Bollinger band, http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=tran it didn't stop and it can happen again making decisions by the deadline severely limit what you can do.

i do see what you are saying about it going down further from the AUG budget crisis to the OCT S&P down grade, but i am saying if you look at your chart it "bounced" three times to the same level until end of sep begining of oct each bounce up last about three to five days with one real minor bounce inbetween the 2nd and 3rd bounce which to me looks like a good place to jump in at those bottoms to try and take some profits on one of those bounces. either way it can be a gamble but with this years market i started to play hit and run in Oct and have come back from -15 to about -8 since Oct with two hit and run type moves. again this works for me. thanks for the info i can use it for my ten minutes i have left to get in or wait one more day.

I almost went G with you today but held on to the slightly less sticky pants for one more day. I hope/think you are right about the Super Committee but I just hope the rabbit isn't brown with a nasty stench!

Does your player have legs on it? I have one, it was inherited, that is from the 30's and smells like burning wires whenever I use it. It is right around the corner from a fire extinguisher!

Looks really good, I like the Architectural shingle look, the best thing is that my homeowners insurance covered it . Just pay my deductable and upgrade on the shingles.

I'm stuck in the "G" until the first of the month and that may be a good place to be. Might get a little bounce Friday but the trend is down.
But Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I have to put the Old turkey in the oven tonight. We're going to do the one hour at 500 degrees and turn off the oven trick tonight. Tomorrow all you have to do is brown the bird, juicy. Have a good one!

Being that I'm unconventional and do not like turkey, no matter how good it's cooked...I had a nice slab of ribs, smoked for 8 hours on Pecan, with all the fixin's..

I did njoy some ho-made Pumpkin pie though..
